Daniel 6:1-3

6 ¶ It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom one hundred and twenty governors who should be in all the kingdom;

² and over these three presidents, of whom Daniel was first, that the governors might give accounts unto them, and the king should not be bothered.

³ Then this Daniel was preferred above these governors and presidents because an overabundance of the Spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole kingdom.
